On November 14, 1996, the Dr. Hermann Gmeiner Balgram - Social Centre opened its doors to help underprivileged children with their problems. This is a day care facility that serves the needs and growth of 60 children. The needs of these children in terms of their health, nutrition, education, counseling, and rehabilitation are met at this facility.
Under the capable supervision of the Project Coordinator and lady Social Workers, the children at this location have access to EXRA coaching, study-related supervision, skills development, candle making, stitching, painting, and art and craft. The institution also arranges trips and picnics for children.
